THERMAL PANELS OF THE TEMPERATURE-CONTROL SYSTEMS OF THE Kondor, Electro, Spectr, KazSat, SarLupe, BelKA and others satellites
Thermal panels of the temperature-control systems are intended for maintaining the temperature of the satellite structure elements, instruments and units at all stages of standard operation within the allowable range. The panels are filled with a required number of embedded primary elements.
The panels are 4800x2000 mm2 in plan and from 5 to 50 mm in thickness
Maximum deviation from the plane for the working surface is no more than 0,2 mm
The accuracy of the primary element embedment is ±0,1 mm
Thermal control system type - axial or contour thermal tubes, fluid manifolds
Weight of 1m2 - from 1,4 to 9 kg (depending on the structure type)
THERMAL HONEYCOMB PANELS -
sandwich structures with the embedded fittings for the attachment of instruments and with heat transfer tubes having leakproof cavities filled with heat-transfer agent inside them.
New design and engineering concepts:
Thermooptic coatings of panels for a radically new system of space vehicle thermal control ,
Thin adhesive compositions and other new materials, including compositions with the expanding microspheres,
A supporting node and the way of its installation without templates and jigs. All embedded fittings for the attachment of instruments are installed in a supporting node during one technological cycle of panel assembly with an accuracy of 0.05 mm, the distance between the centres of the elements being down to 0.1 mm over the whole surface of the panel.
The introduction of new technologies makes it possible:
To reduce the cycle of panel manufacture significantly,
To decrease the weight of satellites and to extend their service life up to 10-15 years.
Joint research and development performed by FSUE "ORPE "Technologiya", Lavochkin Research and Production Association, Research and Production Enterprise "Tais".
HANDWHEEL FOR ANTENNA ROTATOR OF THE SATELLITE KONDOR
is meant for generation of the antenna rotator compensation moment. It is a sandwich structure consisting of thin-sheet metallic skins and a honeycomb core.
Diameter 0,795 m
Disc thickness h=40 mm
Maximum weight 9,45 kg
Ultimate strength under separation of skins and honeycomb core is no less than 20 kgF/cm2
DIMENSIONALLY STABLE PLATFORM-
a sandwich honeycomb panel with CFRP skins for the accommodation of high- precision equipment on the communication satellites provided with over 170 load-carrying points. It is intended for the attachment of equipment up to 250 kg in weight.
The weight of the platform is 77% lower than the weight of the counterparts from aluminum alloys.
Plan size - up to 2800x2800 mm2, thickness - 50 mm
Maximum deviation from the plane in the range of operating temperatures - no more than 0,5 mm
Thermal expansion coefficient of CFRP skins - no more than 1,2•10-6• ë-1
POTENTIONAL FIELDS OF APPLICATION: for a wide range of space vehicles, as base elements for the precision equipment in ground-based measuring stands.
