PRECISION TUBULAR STRUCTURES,

retaining their shape and dimensions over a range of operating temperatures, developed for the frameworks of radio telescope aerials and for the attachment of instrument platforms to the satellite bodies. They are used in specialized ground-based test stands for the precision measurement of thermal deformation and for the investigations in nuclear physics, in frame gantries of automated stands, bodies of optical telescopes and spacecraft photographic equipment.

    • PIPELINES

    for feeding liquid and gaseous fuel components in transport engineering, chemical, oil and gas extraction and aerospace industries. The pipelines are made by winding the polyimide film covered with fluoroplastic coating. They are provided with the metallic tips which afford the reliable joining of separate elements in order to obtain long structures. Modern equipment and specially developed technology make it possible to manufacture rectilinear and curvilinear pipelines with the inner diameter from 30 to 300 mm and bend angle in curvilinear pipelines of up to 80°. The wall thickness is calculated depending on the required strength which in its turn depends on the operating conditions. Technical and economical efficiency stems from high corrosion resistance of the material, low specific mass and from the ability to retain elasticity in a wide temperature range up to the temperature of liquid helium.
