The State Research Centre of the Russian Federation ORPE "Technologiya" has considerable scientific and technical capabilities, production and technological facilities, engineering, technical and design personnel, and a wealth of experience in developing, testing and introducing technologies and running full-scale production of polymeric composite units.
Today, ORPE "Technologiya" continues the development of drastically innovative technologies and design solutions based on the non-autoclave molding of integral composite items, woven fillers, nano-modifed binding agents and up-to-date equipment to implement these solutions. This will provide an increase in the use of polymeric composite aircraft parts up to 45%, a 20% production run reduction and a 15% drop in material consumption.
Using imported materials, the company has produced and launched deliveries of composite panels for the hush kit of the SSJ-100 airliner's advanced SaM-146 engine.
ORPE "Technologiya" is a Russia's leader in aircraft glazing development and production. It has a production facility making silicate and organic glass for cockpit canopies and windows of passenger aircraft and freighters. A radically novel type of aircraft glazing with nano-sized metallic-optical and silicone coatings has been developed recently. Such glazing reduces electromagnetic radiation 200-250 times, solar radiation flux - by 40%, ultraviolet radiation 2-3 times, doubling of the image 1.5-2 times while retaining glass transparency of at least 65%, with the organic glazing abrasive resistance having increased six-fold.
